CollectionCare aims to develop an innovative preventive conservation (PC) decision support system targeting the needs of small to medium-sized museums and collections. It will integrate IoT monitoring of the environmental conditions of each cultural artefact individually at any location, whether on display or in storage, handling or transport, integrated with multi-scale modelling for the different artefact materials while complying with current PC norms and recommendations.

Eindhoven Technical Meeting was held online
Yesterday took place the Eindhoven Technical Meeting organised by our technical manager Emanuela Bosco (TU Eindhoven). Although we are looking forward to meeting face-to-face, it had to be held online due to the unstable situation because of covid-19. Despite this, it has been a very productive meeting focused on coordinating the next tasks of the CollectionCare Project. We keep working hard!

Despite the difficult situation of COVID-19 in Spain, at the end of July, the DFA and the UPV agreed to do their best to deploy a set of basic CC wireless sensor nodes in the Fine Arts Museum and Arms Museum of DFA in Vitoria (Spain).
